DIY At Home Facials
Sundays are for skincare… amIright?!
Now more than ever my skin needs more TLC. Between the smokey skies in California, dry and hot heat, and overall wear and tear because I am getting older I am LONG overdue for a good, deep clean spa visit. BUT seeing as how spas aren’t opening anytime soon, I need to do a little DIY At Home.
Step 1: Begin by washing your face with Beautycounter’s Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser. This is a gentle cleanser that will leave your skin feeling hydrated and moisturized.
Step 2: A good steam with help to open your pores making it easier for extractions. A great steamer to try is this one from Vanity Planet.
Step 3: After steaming, your skin is now ready for Beautycounter’s Charcoal Mask. You can incorporate this mask into your skincare routine 3x a week to balance skin, purify pores, lightly exfoliate and remove excess oil. I love these soft washcloths that I found on Amazon. They are gentle on your skin and you get 6 for $14.
Step 4: Once you have removed your charcoal mask, apply Beautycounter’s Countertime Eye Cream. This is a gentle eye cream that helps diminish fine lines and dark shadows. Or as I like to call it, “youth in a bottle.”
Step 5: The last step to your DIY at Home Facial is to apply Beautycounter’s Countertime Supreme Cream. Think ultra-hydration, moisturizing, and nourishing.
